UDGS foundation doesn’t claim to be the finest of all the existing organizations working in the country , it is still in a learning and a developing stage but one thing which makes UDGS foundation stand apart is the ideology behind it.

If you have any other idea of your own and you wish to get in on floor professionally, UDGS foundation is a platform where you can give yourself every possible chance to bring your ideas to reality.

UDGS is a budding organization with your support this small plant will grow like a tree to benefit the existing and coming generations and together we will make this world a better place .

UDGS foundation is a non-governmental and non profit organization and is completely non-denominational.

In 2013, a qualified finance professional Naveen Gupta decided to follow his passion of acting and theatre but with no professional training in the field and no Godfather he was all on his own and then he along with some of his friends decided to incorporate a entity dedicated towards promotion of theatre and the idea with the contribution of fellow members grew from just promotion of theatre to promotion of art and culture ,education, social advocacy, productive ageing, rural development.

UDGS foundation is registered as a Non Profit making Company under Section-8 of Companies Act,India.

Our website is the most comprehensive source of information about UDGS. It contains descriptions of our programsour ideology and annual reports.

UDGS foundation has wide span of working areas from promotion of art and culture, to education , productive aging , working for differently able , poverty eradication , rural development.

Currently we are working on two projects:

Our Express and Lead program through its workshops and seminars transform the personality and thinking skills of children of all age group. It enables children to think beyond books, take a positive outlook towards life, motivate themselves to follow their own path towards success. Along with life skills,  the program also focus on advocacy on social issues,  health etc.

Thus with a dual goal of improving the life skills of the children and informing them about various social and ethical issues prevalent in our society, the program has been successful in shaping the thinking skills and personalities of thousands of children so far.

The program has played pivot role in shaping the outlook of children towards life and has been able to sow seed of positivity and self confidence amongst them. Feedbacks from the participants prove that the workshops under the program has been able to give them a new way of thinking and these feedbacks fuel us to try different thinks, make the workshops more interesting and move forward.

Our Unfold yourself program was a step towards our contribution in promotion of the art and culture. Our program provides a platform to raw talents in the field of arts may it be music, acting, stage designing, event organizing to sharpen their skills by working with the experienced and the experts of the field, thus the program bridges the gap between the experienced and fresh talent and bring them together to work on a project together and exchange their knowledge and skills.

Theatre as an art form is generally looked as a medium entertainment but we look at the theatre in four ways:

  1. as entertainment / art

  2. as instrument of education

  3. as weapon of social / political change

  4. as a document of history -the plays and the theatrical events of various periods can be seen as historical documents reflecting that period.

Our members in association with a leading theatre group in Delhi have participated in more than 20 shows in last two years which covers each of the above mentioned elements of theatre as an art form we see. Now we are in process of redesigning this program also to conduct theatre and music shows with the fusion of differently able and able people.

We believe that there is an Underdog in each and every one of us. In one situation we might be doing good but in some we might be back stepping . So, we wanted the underdog in us to come out and perform and take the additional advantage of being taken as an Underdog by others. So we found our name which reflected its purpose, its mission : Under- DoGS Foundation

Both our programs ‘Express and Lead’ and ‘Unfold Yourself’ is primarily based on reaching people through our workshops, seminars and shows.

We measure the number of people reached through the level of participation of people in our programs.

We are in process of devising a more structured tool for determining our reach and impact and shall soon be coming out with our impact evaluation tool for our programs.

UDGS is growing every day—serving new communities and new regions. Recognizing that the need for our work exists in all cities alike we are firmly committed to increasing the national footprint of our programs.

We are planning to increase the reach as well as scope of our operations with remodeling and redesigning the existing programs and launching new programs.

Currently, we are in process of designing ‘three’ more programs as an extension of our existing ‘Express and Lead’ and ‘Unfold Yourself’ program

UDGS started its operations in Delhi/NCR in 2013 but with years it has expanded its reach to cover other cities through its workshops and shows.

We have conducted workshops and theatre shows in other cities like Jammu, Chandigarth, Sonepat ,Jabalpur, Indore, Ludhiana , Patna, Gaya and planning to cover other parts of the country as well to maximize our reach across India.

We act as a non-governmental and non profit making organization. Because we also work in public (government) schools, we try to partner with government ministries of education to implement our educational projects .

UDGS foundation believe in collaborative development and contribution of like minded people taking initiatives for increasing the reach of our programs is something we value the most.
